We are happy to announce that applications for the 2018 Diversity Visa Lottery have begun! Applications will be received until November 7, 2016. The lottery has 50,000 visas available for people who are citizens of countries that do not send many immigrants to the United States.
DO YOU QUALIFY?
1. The first step to qualifying is to be from a qualifying country, or have a spouse from a qualifying country. Every country qualifies EXCEPT:
Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China (mainland-born), Colombia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, India, Jamaica, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, South Korea, United Kingdom (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and Vietnam.
This is great news for people from Ecuador, who can now apply for the Diversity Visa.
